Revelstoke Masters Weekend!

clamped throttle..

Hey Laird, ..perhaps show that photo of Shanes throttle clamped to the bar just before launching off that sno-cone/tree. I'm not sure just what was going thru his mind at that moment, ..beyond going FAST...lol!!!!

Good style points on that one Shane!!!

That was a fun day, Revy Masters Golf Tournament at the Boulder Dome Golf and Country Club!!! Awesome!!

Too much fun, can't wait until next years!

Thanks for posting the pics Laird!

Cheers

how did the pro do against the 4 strokers? would think it had a tough time of it?
Well there was no way the Pro was making first tracks up these chutes, but for it to even get up them at all with this kind of snow had all of us amazed! It is only running 9 lbs boost and a 162 track with kicked rails.
I have to give HUGE props to Racers Edge for the skid!! I could smash through massive 4 stroke 174 holes and not even feel them...It just carried the speed. I also think the HM turbo kit with water to air intercooler makes a huge difference. I have not seen another 2 stroke turbo kit running under 10 lbs boost make this kind of speed.
I have been a 4 stroke guy for the last 5 seasons, but this is a fun ride that will stay in the fleet. The Boost-It fuel controller makes it so easy to adjust with adjustable rpm cells and datalogging.

What a fun day of golf for the 6 of us playing. Cptn and Riley were having a blast too.

Looks like you boys had way too much fun... sounds like an annual event coming Augusta weekend!

Laird what was the score on the thumbs up at the top? Looking like you had lot's of style..:)

What an awesome day, I was watching the video last night, LMFAO !!

It was killing me to just sit and watch all the actiion (Damn oil leak on tbo !!) Definately one of the funnest days all year. I got 25 minutes of kick *** video,

I might put it up in a day or two......maybe......haven't decided. :face-icon-small-hap

Sweet pics Laird!
Wow Neils Poo got me drooling all over my keyboard lol
The shots of the phantom ride on the airport made me cry, Rozzy and Shane were wise not sticking with the sled like I did...
On an other note, I believe statement about lake chutes is incorrect, I have pics to prove it :face-icon-small-win

Cheers

Great pictures, great Idea, tourney style :thumb:, can you post up a scorecard so we can see if there was a "Mcllroy" :boom: in the group.

I seem to be missing who won the green blazer... ???? lol

I think Neil should get HUGE style points for pulling this chit off on a 2stroker! :high5: BTW Neil, diggin' the paint job!

Sounds like a fun weekend and KILLER KILLER pictures! Way to get creative guys. :face-icon-small-coo

Thanks for clearin that one up frenchy, good job! Coyote we actually started givin Neil extra style point for riding a two stroke but we quickly stopped soon after we seen he was actually pullin chutes in that deep snow! The score was amazingly so close at the end between team MCX and team Boost-It that we decided to make it a Tie! May have to actually get a green Jacket for next year!

LOL I don't know very much about golf, but wouldn't that be considered his handicap??

Maybe you should let us ladies make a green jacket for next year...:rapture::eyebrows::lol:

Frenchie you would love this Pro! If Duke ever posts a video you will be able to see how much speed it makes. I have 3 friends that have ordered Pro's just this week, and they all are going with the same setup I am running.
I think most if not all the chutes at Boulder have been climbed by 2 strokes in hard snow...but just to put it in perspective how difficult they were, out of 9 chutes there were 10 failed attempts by the Yamaha's. All of these guys are great riders and have great sleds, and between them all, they have climbed and hundreds of chutes.

Haha. Thanks Brandy, my kid and his buddy went after the hood with some paint cans. I guess something a bit different.

Like Lairdo said, they were giving me strokes for a while! And yes, you would be correct in saying handicap!:face-icon-small-hap

NM, how does the handling compare coming off a 4S yamaha?hard to get used to or instant comfort zone?does it handle good climbing chutes or is it a hand full? Are you able to put it anywhere you want in a steep chute or once commited you are along for the ride?does it need more track for chute climbing?

For me comfort zone on the Pro was instant! I could ride it better than my 174 nytro within the first 40 feet. However I think Neil would agree that it will probly never climb with a good 4 stroke, not in the pow anyway. Just the fact that Neils pro was actually able to pull chutes with us in this snow was the unreal part for me! One of the stand out features like neil said was having a propper rear Skid like I seem to never see in anyones 2 strokes. You did a great Job Neils!

Well the fact that it is almost a hundred pounds lighter and has a shorter track makes it much easier to ride. It felt very at home climbing anything, but I mostly credit that to the Racers Edge skid. Straight rails would help alot too.
I think if someone wanted to build one of these for chute climbing, then a longer track would be a must.
This sled was never built with the intention of climbing a chute, and that is probably why it is so suprising that it did as well as it did. There are trade offs with anything we ride, so I think people should just pick the sled that fits them the best.
I have had alot of fun riding Yamaha's, but now I realize that there are some pretty good options out there.
