Got over anxious myself last year and it cost me a trailing arm, steering control arm, ski and dam near my Nut-Sack!. As bad as I want to get out, I won't make that mistake again this year.

As for riding early, for the last 3 years we've gone out second weekend in November and have never had nay bad luck. Just alot of land mines, creek beds and stupidity stucks . Hope theres enough snow to come out that early again this year! Looking at the weather forecast it seems a little warmer than usual for this time of the year, but I'm sure snow is on its way.

I believe that the club has to get special permission to go up and do the maintance thing.
Thats what I figured, it would even be cool just to see some pictures. I've seen the odd one and some areas your like how is that rocky and the next one is just a grassy medow. Just puts a different outlook on what is under the 15 feet of snow your on.

I keep reading about all of these first rides in Montana and I'm wondering if anyone has broken trail into Boulder yet. It seems like its due judging by a few webcams and the eagerness of riders last year. Hope someone has an update and maybe some pictures. Starting to get ancy and can't wait for November long
