Rev Drop And Roll

I have the VE also. Yes it does move the jackshaft into the tunnel. Im running 8t 3" pitch drivers with a 156x16x2.5" with 151 rails and offset axle. It looks the length of a 159. Its a bit of work but well worth it imo. Most the guys I ride with have the same setup also.
 
Im Gonna Run A 162x2.5x3 Pitch With 7 Tooth Drivers And 8 Inch Wheels. I Got A Set Of 162 Rails For It Also. Just Thought The Extra Clearance Would Be Nice Through There. Where Did You Guys Get Your Ve Kits From????
 
You take the pitch x number of teeth divided by 3.1416 = dia of driver.
2.52 x 9 divided by 3.1416 = 7.219" diameter
3.0 x 8 divided by 3.1416 = 7.639" diameter
 
I also did the ve drop & roll works great. It's time consuming but fairly easy. Specialty sleds kit looks good because you don"t have to make up the plates.
 
So With The Ve Drop And Roll, You Have To Make Up Your Own Plates?? If You Do That Kinda Sucks. Can Be Dont Pretty Quick I Guess. Whick Kit Is Gonna Give You More Clearance In The End?? Or Are They The Same???

DECIDED TO KEEP MY TUNNEL AND JUST DO A DROP AND ROLL. PICKED THE KIT UP FROM SPECIALTY SLEDS. WASNT TOO BAD TO DO.

There Is A Couple Of Things I Would Change If I Was To Do It Again Though. All In All It Wasnt Too Bad. I Strettched It Out Over A Coupl.e Of Nights. You Know An Hour Here Half Here, Kinda Thing. Going To Put My Chain Case On Over The Weekend, So That Will Be The Tell Tale. Kinda Fit It Up And Seems Like It Might We A Little Tough To Get Everthing To Go Together Nicely. Will Post Some Pics When I Get The Track And Jack Shaft In.
