REV carb question???

found this adjuster screw in the belly pan after my sled died...havent really messed with it before and dont have a manual to see what it does...just curious as to if this could be part of the reason my sled died...

On mine #41 is the idle adj. screw, more than likely your is the same.
No it wouldn't make your sled die, just idle like chet.

if it doesnt work....its the big adjustment screw thats in between the carbs...it has a phillips head and a head that is used to hand tighten... is that the idle screw?

Yep, that is your idle adjustment screw.

thanks! kinda what i was thinking... so with that screw coming all the way out...it doesnt allow fuel to the carbs right?....tryin to narrow it down as to why my sled just died

It cuts fuel and air . But it would run as long as you hold throttle position with throttle lever . Let off it will die . You also need the spring # 42 to stop it from moving on its own . Adjust it to get your idle rpm . Set it to high and it will go without you on it .

so losing that wouldnt cause it to die unless i released the throttle all the way for a few seconds? hmm...guess on to option #2 :S

found a burned up DPM hose...anyone have any experience with a sled dying from that!? ...other than that..leaning towards kill switch...sounded just like it ran outta gas or kill switch ...or electrical.....no signs of seizure? suggestions or ideas??
