replacing melted pre filter mesh

Hey guys, was removing my old reg stickers and melted my pre filter a little. I seem to be doing just fine without an aftermarket high flow setups so my question is: can I just replace the melted section or do I need to replace the whole bolt on piece with the multiple mesh panels?

Xtream air vents makes a great replacement and adds protection. I don’t think frog skins makes a replacement for the stock vent frame. https://xtremeairvents.com/products/gen-4-intake-vent-kit-2017-2020

Ski doo makes a heavy duty replacement that has screen behind the frogskinz. That's what I run and they work really well
