replacement shocks for '06 700RMK

Anybody tell me what some good replacement shocks would be for my '06 700 RMK? I have the stock Ryde FX but they are not rebuild able.

I put Fox Zero Pro's on mine. The difference is like night/day. If your pocket can afford it, I would do it. Actually, they are some of the most inexpensive, good, shocks out there. About $560 a set at Carls.
I took my swaybar out and ordered my shocks with the 110# spring instead of the 100# spring to help compensate for lack of swaybar

You know the web address for Carl's

www.carlscycle.com

you can get a set of used shocks on ebay or the swapmeet on here..

i got a set of fox floats with 100 miles on them for $350 ;) just takes some looking and patience...

i vote zero pros, or floats....just depends on your budget...or even a set of the aluminum ryde fx shocks..they are great after a rebuild..

I replaced my stock shocks last year all around with WE airs.
I didn't have any issues yet with the front shocks and found them OK - no big improvement. Didn't like the track shocks at all - I think the stock were better so I've replaced them with Fox Zero's from Carl's - no snow here yet so it will be a couple weeks till I get to the hills to try but can't be any worse then those WE's. Take the above advice and look for a good deal on some Fox's or upgraded Ryde FX (the snowcheck Ryde FX shocks that came on this machines are suppose to be a good shock as well)

Are you talking about the torsion springs - if so I have a heavier then stock spring in mine (I do recommend) - not sure the part # but it might even be from a touring machine. As for the shocks depends on the brand/type many have heavier springs available.

Sean will pipe in soon I'm sure he knows everything - he learns things the hard way (dig -dig) LOL!!!!

Theres a ton of threads on torsion springs. I'm 220 fully geared for riding and I replaced mine. Some will recommend the "fatboy" spring - .375/90 or a .375/47. The stock torsion spring is a .359/90. I got the .359/47, same spring but with a tighter angel making it more stiff, but not as stiff as the .375 spring. I have a great ride now, it took care of my sag and gave me a firm (but not too firm) ride ride thru the whoops.
There are tones of theories here, you should do a search on "torsion springs" in heading "Polaris" or "Polaris: 900".
