Damn!

I broke the flanges on the side of the disk of the back when I was younger jumping 3 wheelers. Hurt like hell. But it healed fast. I couldn’t imagine going trough what both of you have gone through.

Old 3 wheelers.... Lotsa stories there !!

Boon had ta drop a lot farther to compress everything up to his noodle !

They cured the Gimpster with a coupla' bottles of Bufferin ! (and a few months of pain lol)

The 490's a pile o parts long ago but that thing killed me. I think it was the most psycho bike of its era. Myy back can recall every bump. Now I just putt around too much ouch factor for this grandpa. Nice bike tho!

keep your eyes on www.ksl.com and search the classifieds for mid eighty's or newer YZ 250's or 490's they are very easy to come by and nearly indestructable. the most I havepaid is $400 and I have fixed up and sold about 12. the 250's are absolute gems never a problem with the engines or trans that was more that just minor tuning (carb and powervalve) let me know if I can help.
