Rental/ guide advice southern Utah

I will be in St. George at the end of February for work and was hoping to ride for a couple of days while down there. I am from South Dakota and am not familiar with the area at all. Wondering where the closest good mountain riding is, where to rent, and if anyone knows of, or is willing to provide guide service. I'm a moderately experienced mountain rider (I go to Wyoming/Colorado a couple of times a year), and I don't like trails. I will likely have 3-4 people from my meeting that will want to ride as well, they have snowmobile experience, but not sure of there experience with mountain/backcountry riding. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Give Bryan Romney with Pinewoods resort a call. 435-616-4329

Maybe he can help you out.

There is no snow in St. George. Romney at the pinewoods is a great person to talk to. For better mountain riding, try the Beaver mountains a few hours north of St. George. The closest riding to St. George is Cedar mountain, 45 min north and a ride up the canyon to 9-10,000ft. Good luck.

Sorry, I should have been specific. I knew that St. George didn't have snow, and am willing to drive a few hours North if necessary to find good snow & riding. I didn't know how far I would have to go. Thanks for the info so far. I will call Pinewoods, although I looked on their site and it looks like all they have is summit fans and Yamahas (no offense intended to the Yamaha guys). I would be more interested in a 600 or preferably an 800 if thats doable.
