Remember tie the 4 wheeler down

I think I have a used B/G for a 02- current dodge in stock you can have if you want.

Don't feel bad. I've done the same thing. Wife said "Aren't you going to tie that down?" Me "Nah it won't go anywhere.":rolleyes: I think it is a Polaris thing, know a few people that have lost windows from Polaris's. Man does it ever make a loud pop when they go when the windows are rolled up!:eek:

Have you tried backing it into your truck box? On my 98 Polaris Sportsman the rear tires stick out further than the rear bumper so the tires hit the front of the box before the bumper(rack) takes out the window. :beer;

looks like it was a tight fit, what kind of truck? I know a guy who busted out the back window after wedging a quad into a Tacoma and not strapping it.

Window

Its a 2003 Dodge 2500 long box. I like the idea of a slider but they are a little spendy. I was quoted 250 installed today after I broke the window.

Been der done dat.....rode a buddy's quad through the window of another buddy's truck. An hour of highway to home had to wear goggles because of all the glass blowing around good times.

Had a buddy trying to load a friends sled into the back of his truck, got to the top of the ramp with a fair bit of speed, went for the brake, and grabbed the Lefty instead! Shot the sled, the right ski through the rear window, and the left above roof line, crumpled the chit out of the cab on the truck!

Wish that was on video!

Don’t feel bad, my last truck that I owned for 2 years was on rear window #3 when I sold it. To my defense they weren’t all my fault: 1) Put the dirt bike in crooked so I could still shut the tailgate, strap had a nasty cut in it that I didn’t notice and it let go sending the handle bar through the rear window. 2) Empty propane tank that originally was strapped in the back with a tie down, tie down must not have been tight enough because it came off. Lady pulled out in front of me and I had to lock them up doing about 35.....tank started rolling towards the front of the box and hit an old tire that was in the box sending the tank air born and through my window. 3) Bought an old steel desk from an auction to put in the shop, the thing had great sliders on the drawers. Got on the brakes pretty hard again and the 35 lb drawer flew open and into my window….the small surface area on the drawer pull worked great for popping out my back window.

PS - $250 sounds cheap!

250 is cheep, My dad owns a glass shop and I believe thats one of his least favorite window to put in because it takes some time.

When i read the title I though that maybe you lost one off of the trailer.....never busted out a window but I have lost a dirt bike on a gravel road. at night.....didn't even notice for about 15 miles. that sucked!!
