Boy we got lucky this time again here in Soldotna/Kenai. Watched it blow and then build up and up. It was coming straight at us til it got over the inlet. Then winds must have changed direction some over the inlet and it turned more to the north (travel) and went just to the west of us. Looked like it would take it straight at Anchorage which it is sounding like it did. We missed another one!!! Makes up for 89 when it hit us square here everytime it blew it's top.
Rode Placer today it was dope but on the way home just before gird heading north the ash was falling quite well. Heavy Sigh
Ash falling out on KGB, bummer.
Ash is blowing around on the Glenn Hwy past Eagle River too.

How many Slopers are still stuck in GPB?
In Valdez we got hit with ash both on Friday (just a trace) and then last night. It was bad enough last night that it smelled like sulfer outside an turned the snow gray. It snowed right after and covered it up with maybe 3" of wet snow.
