Even if we get new snow your sleds can still be ruined. Think about it, your riding out at Petersville right after a fresh snowfall which covered up all that ash. Your out there carving up some deep pow while in the meantime that ash is getting on your hyfax, skids, wheels, inside your shocks, clogging up your cooler and air filter, getting inside your engine comp and side panels.
Is it really worth taking that big a risk just to get in a few more rides? I don't plan on quitting yet, I plan on riding where there isn't any ash, if there is such a place by the end of the week. As of right now, south is the place to go or maybe up in Hatchers Pass, if they didn't get any ash.
