I would love to hear what he has to say. If I could swap-out the pistons and improve the cylinders ability to contain antifreeze, instead of leaking, I could see riding this thing.

I'm tearing mine down and gonna make some mods in an effort to prevent any "silly" breakdowns. Gonna insulate the exhaust and everything within close proximity of it. Gotta clean the carbs and drain the fuel. Gonna insp every electrical connector. This sled just sat.

Gas tank on the last picture? Wouldnt mess up alle the geomitry when beeing full, half and low?

Good question. I'll let you know. Got a pipe showing up on Thursday from a 2001 ZL800. I'll cut it up and make it fit. Then I'm taking it out for a spin. I had to modify the fuel transfer tube in an effort to relieve tension so the fuel tank spigots wouldn't break off. Then, I made a heat shield to protect it from the exhaust. Thought I could use the stock pipe, but, everyone says it's gonna break in half.

THIS SLED IS COOL AND BIZAR AT THE SAME TIME! I HAVE SEEN THEM AT A SNOW SHOW IN THE EARLY 2000's.
