rear suspension question

i broke off one of the black plastic ends off the front of my rails today while i was out riding, i have an anti stab kit on my sled so it looks like the track does not even touch them, do i need to replace it?

YES my cousin wrecked his track on his F7 when one of those black plastic caps broke off.
