Rear Suspension Bolt Location

I'm putting a 144" RMK skid on my 2002 Edge 121".

I'll get a tunnel extension from Tracks USA.

I have the rear rear suspension tunnel braces from a 144" RMK.

My question is where do I locate them for installation.

Do I just put the bolt through them into the suspension and drill/rivet where the suspension is fully extended with no weight on the track.

I think measuring my 144" RMK would be very difficult as the front bolt is above the running board and the back one is below the running board.

I would take the measurements off the 144RMK, drop the susp and measure inside..... The C-C between front and rear is fairly important as well as the height so you have proper transfer and balance.
To get it exactly the same on both sides, get a steel yardstick and drill a hole at 1" and another hole at the appropriate distance for the other bolt. Put a bolt through your forward hole/yardstick and then you can bolt your drop bracket to the other hole in the yardstick and use that to locate the bracket....if that makes sense.
