……..
So we can use the Polaris bag mount
My sled came with one.
My bag came with a 2nd one.

Did your sled not come with one?
Do you want one?

It fits tucked right under the back edge of the mountain addiction gas can up against the rails and achieves the same purpose without adding a couple pounds of aluminum and raising your fuel can up 7/8”.

Fits well and uses all of the stock tunnel holes - no drilling. We’ll see how it all works on an 8 day sledding trip

Why do you want all that weight on your Polaris that’s what the ninja turtles are for. More than a couple of gallons in the tank is pure showing off for Shute climbing.

Because I like to leave early and play late (including night ride when gas stops are closed) where the tourists are not using up all the snow. Takes fuel to get there and back.

2/3 gal Armadillo could likely fit inside of some of Poo's lower profile Lock & Ride Flex bags that only take up one position on the tunnel. E.g., get the 3, fill with only 2 or 2.5 gal, so it can 'mold' into the flex bag. FWIW.
