Just found out the installation of the top pulley on my MPI supercharger requires heating the part to a certain temp installing it in a very specific way and sacrificing a chicken just to be sure it is on.

WOW. I am no fan of this type of pulley mounting.

Anybody have any issues with these coming loose after install?

If the break in procedure is not followed.....everybody will have issues with the pully coming loose.

I read the install directions but I do not remember a "break in" section unless I missed it. Could you be so kind as to say what that is? (oh, and BTW thanks for the belt and the fast shipping)

I just installed my unit and Chris's instructions helped a lot. I have installed lots of taper locks on variety of equipment my company builds and have never had a problem. I never heated mine and they have not moved. Also with the red loctite the set screws should not back out either.
