as seen it goes right in rear and left in front, impossible to align up. my mechanic at local dealer checked it twice, last time when first service and says all is correct messurment, i call bull. the drivers must be off.

and polaris dont seem to give a crap about it.

as i see it i have 3 choices.

1.live with it
2.take of axle and press it myself.
3.cut off the track clips every third window so atleast become quiet.

Looks like just a misalignment. There's lots of dealers that hire fresh-outta-high-school mechanics that can only go by the manual and not really understand what's going on. Fix it yourself:

Loosen the rear axel/idler wheels and, in your case, tighten the left side tensioning bolt, 1/4 turn at a time. Spin the track over between adjustments and your track should come into alignment. My guess is that the dealer is just doing the 10lb weight tensioning deal and not considering the alignment if the idler wheels.

well shouldnt it still have the same play all the way, as u see in my pictures it pulls to the left at the drivers and to the right in the rear.
as it is now even do it is so far right in the rear the clips hit the tip of the rail at the right.
if i where to align it should it come even closer to the tip.

ive align plenty of sleds in the past but none that pulls diffrent front to back of track, i also believe the drivers wont let it move any further.. gotta recheck that again.

Mines the same way. Dealer installed new drive shaft and drivers and ir helped a little but it's still out of alignment was pretty much told to run it. I did have the dealer file a case on it with Polaris so I do have a case # if there is a failure and have proof that there was a problem from the beginning. Either the skid is in crooked or the tunnel is crooked or the drive shaft is crooked From the factory.

yeah something is off, and im gonna take messaurments etc and do what i can. in worst case il cut of the guideline of the clips.

this isnt ok on a brand new sled and i cant understand why Polaris seem to be ok with it.

posted about this couple times last season. on some sleds its impossible to square up the track no matter what you do. created ticket with polaris on it and they pretty much said it was within tolerance and to run it. mines not an sks but kinda same topic.

quite a few other posts about loud sks noises that cleared up as they burned in after season got goin.

since im home to take my daughter to her 4years checkup i went by the garage on the way home. meassured up the tunnel and skid, aswell all other points. all were spot on.

aswell when i checked the track now it was almost aligned after i backed it in the garage, it sure wasnt no where near hitting atleast.

so there must be a massive play with the drivers and my sled was made in a twilight zone :juggle:
