Rain or Snow

Feed back on who got the rain and who got the snow?

In Ogden Valley (Eden) got rain and it is still comming down.
It seems the elevation had to be around 8000ft or a little higher to get snow.
What's the word?

We're in garden city right now. It rained yesterday and last night, but woke up to a dusting of snow this morning. It's starting to drizzle again though. Hopefully its snowing in the mountains behind the cabin here.

I live in Heber City and it rained last night. Woke up this morning and heard a snow plow but looked outside and no snow at all. IDK why he was out

Just called my mom. So the Uinta's are getting really wet snow. They have about 3 inches so far and it's still snowing. Yeah!! But like mtpull said on another thread, it rained up there yesterday. Yikers!! My mom said the snow was reminding her of March snow. What is with this year? Crazy.

Yep, rain on the North Slope until real late last night then changed over to real wet snow. I'll still take wet snow over rain though.

Rain, sleet and snow all day Thursday at Soapstone. It did start to cool off at the end of the day, so I am sure anything else would have been snow.

I was ignorantly assuming it would be snowing in the hills until now....

Per Snotel: Daniels Summit & Currant Creek never got below freezing either so looks like a wet mix there too.......

some snotels shot up 6-10" overnight... temps were 30-36 degrees on those snotels...

this is bull crap... we dont get "pineapple" storms in utah... we get light dry fluffy pow pow... oh well new snow is good snow!

2.2" of water a and 2" of snow at Farmington....Is it April or January...At least we have elevation on our side and it did snow up high.

I am on main street in Park City and it was raining when I got to work but changed over to snow about an hour ago.

Trial lake is reporting about 7 new inches of snow with about half inch of water. I can deal with that. It will be better than it has been and cover up a few tracks.

My brother in law went for a ride to Bald Mt. area this morning and reported a foot of fresh. Might actually be good tomorrow.

I havent looked on snotel yet, but the camera at powder mountain showed a dusting. So thats better than bad for Monte Cristo.

WE NEED SNOW But it aint over until after april 15th. February Always brings good snow, and sombody was telling me that Farmers alminac predicts good snow in February.

Went a mile past Sunset up Farmington this morning and it was still raining so I went home.

Not to mention I had plenty of problems with the deep slush on the road. They were bringing the plow up as I was coming down.

rained yesterday and all day today up here in cache valley, i checked the weather cameras at the state sheds up logan canyon(just below 8000ft i believe) and it looked to be raining up there to. this weather is gay, a couple good early storms, then warms up and melts alot of it, then gets freezing a$$ cold, then warms up and rains, quite frustrating.

My brother just got back from snowboarding up at Brighton and he said in some spots there was close to 2 feet of pow!
