Got a 2012 155 Assault and was wondering if anyone heard of putting the 144 rails on this beast with a track of course? Would the holes line up on the rails? Live in flatland country and would like the best of both worlds.

The holes wont line up if you put a 144 skid under it. I'm sure Ice Age could make you some custom rails if you really wanted... Plus you can't put a 144 track under at 155 RMK because the drivers are 2.86 pitch rather than 2.52 like the 144s. A 146 track is 2.86 pitch so you'd have to have rails for that instead. Plus the 155 tunnel will be long for the 144. If you wanted to make it a bit more flatland friendly you could find someones 155 track for cheap and cut the lugs down to 1.25 or whatever you wanted... Dont really know what you're looking to do I guess.

I have been wondering that also. Tracks USA has no 155's with 2" or shorter lug. There are some 146ers, like the 1 3/8" lug Ice Attack which to me would be a great aggressive trail track.

I wouldn't go quite that short myself, but I would consider a 1.5" to a 2". I occasionally have to ride some plowed road to make loops where I ride, and I have found the Comp track to be brutal on hyfax, even compared to the 5.1 series 2.4". I may just change to one of those, but kind of feeling out my options. If there are any.
