RAILS...aftermarket or stock???

Ok so I have 2 trips out west on my 2011 Pro. I noticed when getting it ready to store for the summer I have a bent left rail. I need to replace it and cant decided whether to go with new single factory rail or powdercoat aftermarket rails. Anybody made this change or have any information? I love the sled it will be getting an SLP motor kit soon also possibly a new track camo or 5.1 any ideas on this? Any ideas or info would be great

My vote is for upgrading to IceAge rails and have them anodized. Also, go for the Camo Ext track.

Get the Ice Ages and have them anodize them for you.

Also, get the Camo challenger extreme over the 5.1

If the powder coat company is not SUPER experienced with pow coating structural, heat-treated, aluminum products pass on it.

Pow coat temps... typically in the 400F range are at the heat treating temp and can easily be over-aged. Low temp pows should be used.

Hard coat Type III ano is my personal favorite and not porous like other Type I & Type II ano.... Snow/Ice does not stick to it.. this is what the navy uses on alloy parts on on deck to shed ice in arctic zones.
