race gas

PM XC700116. He got a bunch last year and the guy discounts it more if you buy more.

I can get Sunoco 110 for $374 for a 55gallon drum here in Oklahoma, I am coming once the snow starts to get good, so if anybodys wants a drum let me know. Its like $6.80 a gallon down here. I get it from Simmons Bulk Petroleum in Oklahoma City.

We had a deal with Team petroleum in Ft. Collins. neighborhood of $350.00 I recall for TT 111. I think i'm out of the race gas biz this year though. Drop compression/save a piston. lol

Hill Petroleum, It's the sinclair gas station just west of Sheridan on 58th. They sell 100 octane not sure of the price. You can pay at the pump for it so that may help if your in a pinch.

Does race gas deteriorate overtime like regular gas? I was considering buying a drum but I don't want to waste my money if it is going to deteriorate over the winter.

It does once you open it. You have to keep it closed. Race gas is a commitment and you shouldn't even by considering buying it if you don't have the equipment that requires it. Otherwise it is just a waste of money and fuel.

once you open a drum race gas will last for well over 6months if sealed and kept off the concrete ground! I've burn through many drums and have never had a problem with fuel after its been opened a few months later!

Why to keep it off the concrete floor?

All the guys back home that raced always had their drums sitting on 2x4's, to keep the drum from leaving a rust ring on the concrete and reduction of moisture.

You want to keep air circulating around the entire drum. The cold concrete will cause condensation inside the drum and ruin the fuel.

Called around and got prices from $11.69 to $7.22 a gallon for 111oct. The cheapest I have found so far was Duggan's.

called on some VP C12 (112) down in Texas about 5hrs from the Refinery and I about dropped the phone, they wanted $560 a drum for VP 112 which is $10.18 where as down in Oklahoma City I can get sunoco 112 for a Little over $7.00! and 110 for around $6.80 a gallon or $374 a drum.
