Race chassis mtn mod

Has anyone attempted to make a sick mountain sled out of the new AC race chassis? I don't often read up on the AC stuff but I love the IQR mountain mods so it would be cool to see what some of the cat guru's could do to make something like that. Pics would be awesome

I agree, putting an 800 motor in the new sno pro chassis and stretching it out would be a sick looking sled. Be the only one around on most days thats for sure. I wouldn't mind seeing some pics as well!

Check out fabcrafts website they have one on there and as it has been stated in this forum many times the 800 will not fit into the sno cross chassis.

the 800 will fit pretty easily actually, as long as the 800 is built on top of a 6 or 7 bottom end. oh and the oil injection needs to be deleted. this is exactly the reason that I'll be doing this conversion this summer. I already have the motor. Now I just need the sled.

I had a 730 sno pro mod with a 144 track under it and I loved that sled! That 730cc motor felt like it had more power then my M1000 that I have now. (i did blow it up a couple times) It would rip and fly all over the place. I loved it and would like to get one again. the 13.5 track was lacking when driving it slow in deep snow but once you got it moving it was so much fun to ride!!!

That thing looks like a weapon- could be the direction cat is going in. The firecat was made into an M. I could also see polaris going with the IQR as well. I love my M though- this week is dragging by I want it to be saturday.

yes that sled is an 800 and rips! that guy gets his parts from the cat dealer i work at!

Not a "big block" 800 but based of the 600-700 bottom end with a bb and there isn't room for oil injection.

Anything is possible I can see if you had a good fab guy it wouldnt be any problem to section that chassis out to put in the 800. The jackshaft has pleanty of clearence and if a guy maybe rolled the chaincase a little moving the track back it would open up alot of space. Obviously it can work looking at the pictures. Telling someone they "cant do it" usually fuels impossible prjects
