Quietest snow check ever

This has to be the quietest snow check ever, no huge hype, no page after page of color photos etc. . I think between Polaris delivering my22 sleds a year plus late for some and the insane prices the 23s are it is going to put a lot of folks out of the game . Glad IIgot my 22 last week and our snow is melted now. Tough times, it will be interesting to see the long term effects of inflation. on the power sports industry

We dont have to make a multitude of "toot-toot threads" about our new sleds.

We know we have a WINNER, and it is obvious once you ride one :)

But on a serious note, yah, the prices on these new ones are through the roof!! Sure glad i bought a 22!! Could probably sell mine a MAKE $1000 on it :)

I would like to see some pics of the sleds so I can see the actual colors the computer generated ones don't really show what they look like in person.

Dealers have been given very limited allocation of specific motor/models/colors, and many combos on the build site are simply not available to order from many dealers. Dealers can't spec for floor, either, just being allocated limited specific builds, zero changes. Poo has already firmed much of their 23 build schedule down to specific complete units. 23 will be more snowtake than snowcheck for poo. No one is shocked, just the way this toy market has evolved.

Now Im in the wrong tread but here goes.. I think that we need to get out there and ride.. new tech is awesome but this year my Bearcat 440f has more hours on it than my 2019 alpha HC and my 2022 alpha HC. And honestly I love the hours out riding on all three of them. Polaris for sure showed the world what development is about this year giving options to those of us who buys new sleds and I really hope the rest follows. But I also wish people stop being so focused on new tech and bring their friends out and ride on whatever because it's all about riding and not on what!

i agree with all you said.but snowmobilers DO NOT have the biker mentality.its all about the ride, the freedom, the sights, the people you meet along the way, ect.bikers do not care what you have, what you do,all we care about is the ride,no matter what you ride.

I can confirm this. I snow checked a 9R the minute they came on the site. I was so early that the khaos 9R 165 wasn’t even available. So I hurried and checked a Pro 9R 165. My dealer is closed on Monday, so I was sitting in parking lot waiting for them to open today. I was second person through the door and was hit with... “Unless you checked early you’re most likely sol. And we’re not getting any 9R 165s.” I was bummed, but it’s all good, as they allowed me to change to a 155, seeing as I was one of the first orders they got and was waiting in parking lot before they opened. Dealer said like above...Each dealer was allocated a certain amount. Polaris has already “put together” certain sleds and maybe one is close to the one you checked. But obviously dealers already know what they can and can’t get. When those very limited orders are filled, it’s over. And most likely, it’s already over. ?

Crazy busy opening morning of snowcheck at our store. Going to sell out again just like last year. Prices are a non-issue in the post covid world
Jsson, do u know the over all numbers of boost, 900s and 850 builds available?

If you're riding trail it's one thing, but we generally don't.

I ride enough trail to get to the good snow, then we're off. If you're not on a decent sled you're hopelessly stuck. I tried to use an older SKS, and I couldn't go anywhere and just felt bad dragging everyone back to the trail and quit going. I went and bought a pro rmk so I could get to those places and not drag everyone else down.

The SKS was free, so I have it setup for the lake and towing. My kids will learn to ride it on the lake, and they can have my pro when they're ready. I won't take them with all my buddies unless it's a kid friendly day, when we all decide to bring them as we'll never probably leave the trail unless it's a flat meadow.

Part of that is MY FAULT.
Ended up with a bunch of Medical Issues that have drawn me AWAY from SnoWest over the last week, and I just wasn't able to prepare all the materials like I did for SkiDoo.

Spent the last 4 days beating the piss out of my 2016 chopped, narrowed, geared down pro 800 155 ...
Places I couldn't get - did get in some nasty spots- was not the fault of the machine but rather shortcomings in agility, age and balls!
Will I buy a new sled again? NFW. Too much $$$$ - will wait for someone to come to the realization that they can't justify their fairly new, low mile sled and decide to sell it in the summer for a deep discount.

I'm hoping that polaris sell out again in 23 cuz in 25 I'll get one at 1/2 the price!!!

Used sleds go for more than new. (Almost.) Unless things change in the world, that may never change. When I can sell a year old 900 mile sled for $250 less than I purchased it for........something is wrong. And when people are buying a new one now (allotments) they know that they own gold, and price it accordingly. Allotments have been cut close to 75% in some cases. There won't be a good deal on a used Polaris for a long time. Unless you go older, that does make sense. But the guys that are paying premium for new are going to want premium for used.
