I just bought a set of twins from a guy off of here and i was having some problems. My question is with most twin pipes do you have to cut a new hole in your belly pan to get them to fit properly?

Yes, you will need to cut a new hole in the belly pan for your exhaust (can) to exit. I had to do the same thing on my 02 summit when I bought my CPIs. Its easy to do.

oh.. youre talking about the can? lol.. i was thinking the actual pipe was going too low and hitting the bellypan. didnt think that could be right.
On my 700 rmk,i got a set of slp twin's,i never had to make a new hole for my can...
its all out the stock hole thru the belly pan...
