Quarantine to Detent. Fac. order for H1N1 CDC site/"unwilling to follow gvt orders"

Quarantine to Detent. Fac. order for H1N1 CDC site/"unwilling to follow gvt orders"

At first I was a little skeptical of this because they didn't offer links to several of the alarming statements, but I looked up the brochure for this Gvt seminar, I looked up the Fox article and I looked up The Hill article and it's all legit. I provided links below. Brackets ([ ]) and bolding mine.

Part of WND article:
"Clymer also expressed concern about turning over decisions inside the United States to an international organization like the WHO. Adding other pieces to the puzzle, such as the Pentagon's involvement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, just adds to his worries, he said.

According to a Fox report, the Pentagon is planning to make available military troops – if they are needed – to help FEMA respond to a flu outbreak.

The report said Defense Secretary Robert Gates is preparing to sign an order letting the military set up regional teams to help FEMA.

"Americans should be gravely concerned when all the pieces are put together," Clymer said. "We have a strain of flu which has produced mild symptoms so far, and yet it appears there's a well-orchestrated world-wide effort to put draconian measures in place for a 'pandemic.'"

Clymer also cited the WHO recommendations that would provide, essentially, for an indefinite stay in a quarantine camp for those who refuse a vaccination. He said the procedures that follow a "Level 6 Pandemic" allow international precedent to override U.S. constitutional guarantees of freedom.

Gov. Jim Douglas, R-Vermont, head of the National Governors Association, and Vice Chairman Gov. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., wrote, "We are concerned that the legislative proposal … would invite confusion on critical command and control issues, complicate interagency planning, establish stove-piped response efforts, and interfere with governors’ constitutional responsibilities to ensure the safety and security of their citizens," Douglas and Manchin wrote to Paul Stockton, assistant secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and America's Security Affairs.

And the Fox report said even a spokesman for the Defense Department acknowledged the concerns "about civil liberties and the use of force."

Attorney Robert L. Shannon told the network the military generally isn't allowed to intervene in peoples' lives, "But it's important to remember that the president has the option and authority to use federal troops in a national emergency."

An ACLU spokesman told Fox that the idea of forced vaccinations or detentions would raise constitutional questions, and Michel Chossudovsky, writing on the Global Research website, said the implications are "far-reaching."

The event in the past has been used to discuss various strains of bird flu, but this year is being called the International Swine Flu Conference. It's Aug. 19-20 at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill.

Among the topics to be considered are: "Unwillingness to follow government orders," "Control & diffuse social unrest & public disorder," "Protect police forces from falling ill & from being hurt in civil disturbances," and "Manage a surge in crime & meet routine requests at the same time." [see link for proof in brochure below - see sessions 2 and 6 on first two pages]
=========================

Most critical links - PDF Brochure for concerning subjects to be covered at gvt swine flu conference. See pages 1 and 2 Sessions 2 and 6: http://www.new-fields.com/isfc/brochure.pdf This has been removed, probably because the conference is almost over, but I printed the brochure and can send a scan to anyone who wants it.

From WHO website: "The panel recommended providing an adequate facility for quarantine and isolation." and from CDC website, a form you sign why you have been detained for "noncompliance" (says Florida, but still on CDC site) http://www2a.cdc.gov/phlp/docs/FL Quarantine To Detention Facility Order Apr 09 252.pdf

Edit: Sorry, forgot to link to the CDC site "2009 H1N1 Flu Legal Preparedness" that deals with state to state laws where the Florida detention order came from. Go down toward the bottom to "state laws, regulations and legal tools" and "quarantine detention order" under Florida
http://www2a.cdc.gov/phlp/H1N1flu.asp

The Hill article about the governors opposing DOD emergency powers:
http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/governors-oppose-dod-emergency-powers-2009-08-10.html

Fox article - Military to aid FEMA for coming "swine flu outbreak:"

Finally, remember that the normal seasonal flu kills over 300,000 in the US every year. Swine flu is a very mild flu in comparison.

WHY ARE INTERNMENT CAMPS BEING BUILT?

By Chuck Baldwin
August 11, 2009
NewsWithViews.com

The Internet is abuzz with news about the construction of internment camps all across America. Of course, "mainstream" media outlets refuse to touch the subject; or if they do, they pooh-pooh the story; they do what Glenn Beck recently did: try to debunk the story as fallacious and impugn people who speak of it as "conspiracy nuts." The fact that the Becks, Hannitys, Limbaughs, and O'Reillys of the media circus refuse to deal with the construction of large numbers of internment camps does not make them disappear, however.

For starters, all anyone need do to begin a serious investigation of the subject of internment camps is Google the phrase "FEMA Camps." There is more than enough evidence in that search engine alone to keep one busy with some in-depth private investigation of the subject for quite a while.

Another URL to check out is this one from the June 2009 Idaho Observer.
As people read my columns all across America, I have had numerous readers contact me, saying that they have personally witnessed the transportation of construction materials used for internment camps, have actually worked in and around them, or have personally seen such camps. These eyewitness testimonies have come from very credible people, including law enforcement and military personnel, as well as airline pilots and construction workers.

Just a few weeks ago, I was aboard a cross-country flight when the passenger I was sitting next to (a total stranger) asked me to take a look out the window. He asked, "Do those look like internment camps to you?" I was astonished that the man (1) would even know to notice such a potentiality, and (2) would be so bold as to ask such a question of a total stranger. I must say, I was extremely happy to make his acquaintance. And we had a very warm and invigorating discussion the rest of the trip.

We were flying over Colorado, over extreme wilderness terrain, and, yes, right in the middle of nowhere, the buildings and surrounding features that I saw sure looked like internment camps to me. Of course, flying at over 30,000 feet in the sky makes it difficult for any kind of detailed analysis to take place; that is for sure.

Then, a friend recently brought this URL to my attention.

This is an advertisement by the National Guard promoting the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of "Internment/Resettlement Specialist." Question: why does the National Guard need to recruit Internment/Resettlement Specialists? What do they know that we should know?

rest of the story

They won't be building intermittent camps. They'll use infrastructure that's already available. Mostly the camps that the National Guard uses for training facilities that are relatively unused. These camps are very easy converted into secure holding structures with a few fences, concertina wire, and a few guard posts.

I hate to say it is true but they added on to Camp Grayling here in Mi 4-5 years ago, Talking to some of the guys that worked on it & they say its not your normal layout & they have been all over that base before & after.

Then we had this joker show up wanting to build the Sovereign Deeds compound to shuttle the rich from all over the U.S & Canada to their safe houses. Heck it only cost $60k per year to provide safety & security for their familys when things turned bad. Maybe the joke was on us?http://www.petoskeynews.com/articles/2008/01/25/news/doc4799f12d7c96b786671366.txt

Blue Great work!

I don't believe that conspiracy theorist crap though. The Gov't needs a contingency plan if something catastrophic happens. A few million caskets doesn't go very far in the big picture of things. If something happened in a large metropolitan area those caskets would be all used up. The stockpiling of caskets doesn't scare me. Does it raise some questions? Yes, but there are rationale for doing it.

so I know a lot of people across the country. No one that I personally know has ever gotten that flu. sure they got the flu over winter but not that one. I wonder if this thing is way over hyped like the bird by the media?? Do any of you know someone that actually got it??

I have a friend in Florida who said she had it, but they never tested her for it, the doc just thought that's what it was. It didn't sound that bad. The big "fear" is that it will turn into a "pandemic" this Fall when normal flu season starts.

Update: I called around and talked to some gvt people and heard that a lot of this stuff could be boiler plate, preparation for stuff (kinda like they do for biological warfare terrorist stuff).

I also called my governor's office (a Lefty) and asked if he would stand up to FEMA or the Fed IF they did make Swine Flu vax mandatory. The staffer said from the Gov's history, he didn't see how he'd be afraid to stand up to the Fed and say "not in my state." So that makes me feel better. He also said they've been getting lots of calls on it. I think the Greenies are flipping because of the mercury and "what's in the vax" issues. Conservatives are flipping because of the constitutional violation (and what's in the vax), so there'd be bipartisan revolt if they ever tried this.

As mentioned before, I fail to see the urgency for a flu that is so mild. When the regular flu kills 36,000 Americans a year and this is nothing, yet they're calling it a potential pandemic. I'm a tad suspicious. You know, like Toes says (Rahm Emmanuel) "Never let a good crisis go to waste."

I have never read anything that proves there is a difference between swine flu and regular flu.

It is a different strain, and how it reacts with the body.

Technically there is a different flu every year, many time several different strains.

What makes the Swine Flu so unique is that it doesn't share a lot of "DNA" with regular flu. Most of the typical winter flu's we see each year are similar to one another. So even when we get them our body is capable of defending itself because it has fought a flu that has a similar genetic build. That is not the case with the Swine Flu. It is so different that our bodies don't know how to fight it, which is why it is spreading so fast and killing more people than regular flu.

If you are healthy you don't really have a lot to worry about but those that have other diseases/sicknesses/illnesses etc will have problems, particularly the elderly and young.

WASH YOUR HANDS AND WASH THEM OFTEN!!!

This flu is not spread by airborne pathogens, but from contact. So don't bother wearing a mask. Other than reminding you not to touch your face it won't do anything.

Seems to be conflicting data:

"With the world facing its first pandemic in 41 years, it’s easy to get caught up in all the hullabaloo that’s circulating about the swine flu.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the worst could be yet to come, so Americans need to prepare for a large outbreak this fall and winter as children return to school and people spend more time congregating indoors.

To best prepare, it’s important to separate fact from fiction.

Here are 10 of the most common myths about H1N1:

1. H1N1 is worse than seasonal flu.

So far, there is no data to back up this statement.
What worries health officials is that it's a strain of the flu that has never been seen before.

However, the number of deaths from H1N1 in the U.S. is above 300 or about 1 percent of those who have been infected with the virus. This is far lower than the 36,000 people who die annually in the U.S. from seasonal flu. H1N1 does, however, appear to be harder on pregnant women than seasonal flu and health experts are encouraging women who are pregnant or are thinking of becoming pregnant to get vaccinated once the H1N1 immunization becomes available."

But "The new H1N1 influenza strain may be just a little less catching than seasonal flu, but seems a little better able to cause stomach upsets, researchers reported on Thursday.

Genetic analysis and lab experiments with the virus show it lacks a piece of genetic material that makes ordinary flu viruses so transmissible, a team of U.S. researchers found.

Researchers in the Netherlands, meanwhile, found it lives very well in the nose and their findings suggest it has the ability to stay around for a long time — and get worse...

"The ferrets did not catch the new swine flu from one another as easily as they catch ordinary viruses, Tumpey said. Usually, if a ferret is infected with human flu, it infects all other ferrets in nearby cages. But with the new H1N1, only six out of nine animals became infected."

It's not killing anywhere near as many people as the regular flu kills.

Correct, but when you look at the number of people it kills to number people infected with it compared to regular flu, the numbers are off the charts.

WAY more people are infected with regular flu.

So percentage wise it is killing a lot more.

OIC what ur talking about now... It's just killing the weak and elderly anyways, so wouldn't it fit right in with where Obamacare is taking us? Maybe we should give swine flu some stimulus money?
