QS3 rebuild

Having a problem with my front shocks. I had them rebuilt a couple weeks ago. The clicker dial randomly goes to no tension on the dial. Like no click to 1,2.3.
Then it goes back to normal and has tension on each setting.
They are going back to be fixed but just wondering if anyone has had this experience.

I've seen it happen on rebound adjusters on MX shocks. The culprit being a rebound rod that was hung up. Possibly getting a hang-up in the compression adjuster valve. Is it happening with both shocks or just one?

Its air in the shock.
