Just curious what everyone's thoughts are on the quick drive belt guards that are out there.

Good, bad, any experiences?????

Been looking at the Tri City Performance one and the Van Amburg.

Any others to consider??????

I installed one. It was an easy installation (30 minutes). I don't know that I have hit anything or not. However, it did cover the access hole that lets snow in. I would put on for peace of mind. I can't recall what brand I used. All of them do the job. I like the one that I used because it is strong (almost 1/4" thick). I think that it will do the job in the event of a strike on the bellypan in that area. Good luck!

I installed the Van Amburg on mine for piece of mind... I liked the fact that this one is black in color and matches so it isn't even noticeable.

Van Amburg on mine, great fit and finish. Hit several rocks and stumps this year, with no damage. I like that the drain hole is covered up too.

I have one, but never installed it. It fit like an absolute pile of crap. After looking at it for a while, I decided it wasn't worth my time. I have been proven correct so far. hahaha.

Had a TCP guard prior to riding and rode 800 mile with no problems and a sense, whether it be real or not, that I was safe if I ended up going over a tree or good sized rock. I recommend theirs. It fit awesome.
