Great show. Turn out appeared to be down but still good. I want to thank everyone who stopped by and said hi or picked up some slidekicks or quick clickers. We moved some product! Also, we had a good response to our trailer floor coatings and liners. We are just trying to make your sport a little better. Thanks! See you next year.

Anyone got any good pics to share. None of me from Friday night please.

I'm glad you had a good time and I hope everyone else had a good time also. For me, it was a total yawner, not sure why but I was bored. I usuall drop a couple g's but this time I bought 7 vids and hit the road. I guess I'm getting old.

starting a rental shop?

Maybe I should hang with you next time, I ended up leaving with a truck load of goodies.

We ended up hanging in the lot with the beer and barby on Saturday. Went back Sunday for the show. Nice to not be more crowded than a rock concert.

Does anybody know the attendance numbers for both days? I think it very similar to last year for the Saturday but Sunday was brutally slow compared to previous years. Sunday still had more people than we see all weekend at the BC show.

I love the Puyallup show! Great deals, great people! Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hey. For those of you who bought from me....a super big thanks!!

good show but all I wanted was a Yam hat not one in the place got some good stuff I think a lota sad guys sad or in trouble with the wife cause stuff did not sell. went home I heard they only had sold 75 sleds new and used on saturday the are suppose to do like 200. Nobody wants to part with any money.

I too was a little disapointed in the clothing side of things.
If I wanted an after market clothes no problem but if I wanted somthing to support Yamaha or polaris it was not to be found.

With the decked sleds you already have, I bet it was a yawner for ya

The general public @ Puyallup will not buy used sleds unless they are STOCK( a few bolt on goodies are OK). The word "mod" scares Joe Snowmobiler away.

Being a cheapskate, I did not see any Deals inside or outside on older Polaris (Edge and before) sleds. I bought a few things for my wife and sons sleds, and had a good time seeing new stuff.

I think a lot of people went home with sleds that should have sold, including 2 here. Knew it would be slow, but not that bad.

Used sleds have never really moved at the show. It is funny though to see the slashed prices at 4-5 pm. Makes you wonder if the price was that low while all of the people went through if it would have sold?

It was pretty slow this year. I was also disappointed to see car wax booths and leather and cowboy hats...... All the booths have always been snowmobile related until this year:face-icon-small-sad:face-icon-small-sad

I'm hearing alot of negative here....... I think we've gotten spoiled with how GREAT this show has been! Go to any of the other shows (other than Haydays) and you'll fall back in love with this one, I'd bet on it!

I thought it was awesome! It allowed a little more breathing/ eating time for the vendors. It allowed me to walk more freely through the crowds. It allowed me to get personal one on one time with many of the vendors and actually get some GOOD information in a more relaxed way.

I got to see some new goods, some old goods. Some great gear, some not so great gear. Got to see peeps I haven't seen in 3 years. Met SO many great new smiley faces. :D

We didn't have to walk in the rain!

Over all, I'd give this show an 9. But I didn't have a sled for sale and I didn't go expecting to find price busting deals......... lol :)

GOOD to see all that I got to see! THANKS so much for making those 2 1/2 days of non-stop bs'n about a sport that I LOVE just that much more fun. :D

Now, bring on winter. :D

Been doing the swap for 7-8 years and was one of the slower/less crowded times in recent years. Not many sleds moving out at all. Spoke to a few dealers that sold less than a handful of sleds all weekend. Have definitely seen it more crowded. Sunday am at 10:00 the swap area is usually packed for the first two hours but they just trickled thru all day.

Still a good show - just not as much forking out of the almighty dollar in the swap.

I was going to come down on sun but I had 4 or 5 people call me and say don't bother coming down..Just the same old, same old..

Kind of figured it would be that way with the way the economy is hitting everybody.Sure hope it gets better soon.

On another depressing note,I read yesterday how the greenies are getting all excited that Obumma might be elected and then it will be a full democratic goverment. Then they will be able to fast track thier agenda right through congress and get ALOT more land closed. I have been following a few greenie web sites and they are all talking about this alot.

Better ride while ya can...lol..:face-icon-small-dis

Guys.....for anybody who thinks negatively about the Puyallup Show, think again. I ran into so many Canadians who drove down there, including myself. There is a reason for it! The show ROCKS!

I thought I had a lot of Klim Gear before! Well....now I am totally Klimed out! LOL So is my wife and my two year old! LOL

Considering there are 27000 Boeing workers on strike and a sagging US economy, I thought the turnout and sales were awesome. Some of the deals for sleds were amazing! Those deals would not last long up here north of the border.

Everyone I ever knew that brought their used sleds to the show that were priced reasonably have always sold them in the parking lot.
I even saw about 5 on Saturday by about noon inside the swapmeet area with SOLD signs on them.

The guys who feel that their 5 or 10 year old sled is worth 85% of what they originally bought it for are just dreaming and will never sell them until they realize they are way overpriced.

I have to laugh when I see a guy trying to sell an 8 year old sled with average miles in a very used condition and not even spend a few hours cleaning it up or puting a little polish to it for $5.000 plus.
It was worth maybe $2,800 tops.
I just don't get it.
Was the old mud on the track, skis, and tunnel worth the extra $2,200?

If you want to sell them then price them to sell.

Sorry...Ranting again!
