PUSH TURBO KIT 2012 PRO CLIMB 800

I was looking at the Push site the other day and found the TBBT... can someone give me some more info? Does it actually work well? I am a little skeptical to say the least.. similar things were tried many years ago.

That's the Tial kit and works very well when set up right. I set one up in Alaska and he is very happy. Pull the rope and hold on

Turbo kits

We have sold a few CPC over the counter and installed 4. We just finished a rg OVS. We are very familiar with CPC could install them with one eye open. It has very good instructions. The OVS didn't and obviously took longer. Dale's service is second to none. OVS good, instructions would have eliminated some assumptions and lost riding days. Seems to run great now. I haven't worked on any other kits so I can't comment on those.

The bottom line is any kit is only as good as who is behind it. For a DIY guy instructions are key. There is a reason dealers charge 10-15 hours for install. These kits don't catch the inexperienced mistakes, warn about how much time it can take, or tell you how to troubleshoot when something doesn't work the way you think it should. Be very selective about who you trust to take information from. Dealers are typically going to help you if you bought the kit thru them and that is always the best choice if you want minimal days lost on the hill. Our customers have been riding their CPC kits since the start of December. Minor bugs have been worked out and it's all fun for the rest of the year for them. Can't put a price on that.:high5:

Tial Kit to date

Putting at Tial Kit in my '12 162..there is some fabrication needed in places...yes there is no instructions , but Jeff and the boys from Dakota have been helpful with every phone call..Tough when your not there but I feel doing the install myself gives me a better feeling narrowing down problems when the arrise. Had a Push Turbo on my '10 hcr and it performed well. I've added some pics and hope to have it running by wed/thursday

Yep its worth having a shop install it for ya. I have done an install, removal then reinstall on 2 different sleds. And choose to have Kevin at Phatties install my Tial on the 2012.
Picked it up and rode it with no problems for a week straight in 3' of pow.

More on my story. Kevin at MM looked my installation of my G kit and found a few problems. He fixed them, then we went for a ride. If any of you have riden with him, you know what I mean when I say ride. He rides hard, and good. Got it tuned and runs really good, no lag. Sure can tell when it goes under boost. Kevin has been very good help to me and I say he knows his stuff. He is working on instructions and pictures for the Push kits. The install is fairly easy, if you have been around turbos before, which I had not. I can say now that it would have been better for me to have had Kevin do the install for me and tune and ride. Thanks again Kevin, it runs like I wanted it to. Good service and made a good friend. Dave.:face-icon-small-coo

If your have not already done so, make sure to seal your tps sensor with some silicone. We had to replace ours due the fact that the new throttle body does not have a groove for the o-ring that seals it.
