Pulling carbs 07 800r

Have yet to do this to my unit since i have owned it since new....Left a 1/4 tank thru the summer months with no sta-bil(i did fire it up every month to lube her up),But was thinking i would yard the units off and give a go through.....Any tips ,or is it pretty straight forward....I'm good with the tools and got lots so i'm good to go that way....
What have you done OR what have you learned not to do when doing this?

Be sure to take the coolant hose off of the heated carb. Or just take it off of the reservoir. If not done can be a pain to get carbs off, and be sure to keep a little play in your throttle when you tighten the cables back down. Try and keep dust and dirt or catails out of the reeds.

very simplke to do. Just note where the cable adjuster is at when you remove them. when you install, make sure you adjust the closet cable to you (throttle) to where it is closed. make sure it isnt hanging open. have fun!
