Pulled the Trigger and Ordered a new custom 2021 Truck today!!

Ford FINALLY released the final engine specs today!!

Engines HP / TQ Figures:

2.7 - 325 hp /400 lb-ft (No Change from 2020)
3.3 - 290 hp /265 lb-ft (No Change from 2020)
3.5 - 400 hp /500 lb-ft (Up 25 hp /30 lb-ft from 2020)
5.0 - 400 hp /410 lb-ft (Up 5 hp /10 lb-ft from 2020)
3.0 Diesel - 250 hp / 440 lb-ft (No Change from 2020)
3.5 Hybrid - 430 hp / 570 lb-ft

Damn Shame they aren't offering the Raptor's 3.5HO engine from last year!!
That would have made an awesome combination with the Hydrid Electric package.

Looks like some pretty respectable numbers for a new 1/2 ton. Should pull your new (shorter) trailer just fine!. They gotta save that HO hybrid option for the new Raptor along with the supercharged V8 option.

I strongly suspect the 2021 Raptor will have the Shelby 500GT Engine in it as the high end option.
Ford has to compete with the new TRX..

In years past, if you bought the F150 Limited, you got the 3.5HO engine from the Raptor.

Wow!
Payload and towing numbers are higher than i expected.
The powerboost may have the most power but they give up payload and towing capacity.

Crazy numbers for a"half ton"....[emoji481]

I am curious about that rating too. Can it run 570 lbft continuous? Or once the battery drains down on a big pull does it just go gas only then? Or will the gas engine continually charge the battery to get you full power? Its an impressive number no matter what!

Don't know for a fact, but I would sure think that once you drain the power from the battery, you are on Gas Only...
So I would guess that the electric helps you get up to speed, then the gas keeps you going up the hill.

Right now the system hasn't been released to anyone for on the road testing and review YET.
The truth will come out in the next month.

Is there a regenerative power supply to charge the battery while in coast mode, or does the battery get charged only from the alternator which would be a drain on the fossil fuel engine?
