Well, So been havin trouble with my sled lately I reset the tps and synchronized the throttle body tryin to do what i can to fix it... i pull it out runs like champ, check engine light goes off. Runs good, time to ride!!
So we drive 3 hours to go to white pass, awaiting us is clear skies and several feet of untouched powder of supreme epicness! Unload the machine ride ten minutes, going great, comes up to operating temp, light goes on sled bogs hard...she's done for the day.
Heres the point of the story... My riding buddy rmk2112 and me look at it, figure were cooked, whats the guy do takes it in stride, "oh yeah its all good", he says "we'll hit er again next time." The guy just drove 3 hours, and was just as wired! to ride as me. To turn around and head home, another three hours. Now thats a good guy! Thanks Jeff!
So I took it straight to the dealer, didnt want to do that again.....Symptoms: ran fine cold, no engine light. Bring it up to temp, bogs, backfired a bit, c.e. light came on. Dealer diagnosis we put a fuel pressure guage on it....pressure 120....fuel pressure regulator....grrr.
And yes next time after were done ridin, i know whos buyin' dinner!

I bought you McD's for breakfast and you're buying dinner. That's a deal :D

I couldn't quite tell ......... When I told you the rest of the group put on 100 miles and the powder was knee/thigh deep......... I think I heard you crying in your text reply :face-icon-small-dis:face-icon-small-win

It's all good buddy, im just glad it happened at the trail head and not 20 miles in like my bearing blowout. We'll pack in some gas and tear it up next weekend. Now, I just have to find a good restaurant that will serve our skanky azzes after a hard day in the POW.
