ProClimb 1100T Intercooler Fan Kit DONE!

With the turbo upgrade, do the head studs need to be changed? I like the idea of the bigger intake wheel for the fact that it's kind of like changing gear ratios.. Is the turbo mod a send to you if so, what is expected turn around?

First of all I do not speak for EVO or anything. But here is my guess on the turbo. It will likely be a different wheel and housing. Maybe some machine work to the the stock CHRA To make the new housing fit. If not likely it will bolt right on. Will have to remove the turbo from the sled for sure.

I would add head studs. I have done 2 sets now. I am meticulous when doing them but it only took me 1.5 hours last night with all the plastic off the sled already. From start to finish it would be a 4 hr job to strip the sled, do the studs and then put the plastic back on. Putting the tensioner back in is the hardest part. You need to set the cams back in, put the cam holders in place and spin the bolts down by hand. Then put the tensioner back in before you tighten the cams down or the intake cam likes to jump a tooth.

I have one of the fan kits installed and running on my 1100t. Moves a lot of air. I'm going to mount some temp probes under the hood by the clutch side to see if that 440 cfm fan cools things down a bit under the hood. I already have intercooler inlet and outlet temp probes, this fan works. I would definitely install head studsvwhen you have all the plastic off to install the fan.

We will have an exchange program for the turbo. Head studs should be done over 220 hp.
