Pro Tether

my plug and play Polaris tether works half the time at best

also I use a carabiner to attach it to me. A wrist band is kind of lame imo.... Carabiner it to a belt loop.

yeah this kinda defeats the whole purpose of have a kill cord!

should of just got the pro design kill cord set up. have this on my wheeler and it works awesome.

I don't own a poo atv but my guess is the kill cords overlap for both as plug and play and we got the short end of the stick on this one.

I ran kills like this for years in the atv world and 0 fails because we didn't ride in arctic conditions ( :

I've got over 2500 miles between a couple sleds running a kill switch and no problems whatsoever in any snow conditions. I always "knock" the plug end clear of snow/ ice before I re-install each time though. Not sure it that's the reason I'm trouble free or not. This is with the Polaris OEM tether also.

P.S. Only had to eject once due to a wfo stuck throttle and it worked perfectly. I didn't have a TSS on that sled (2011 PRO). I wonder if that may have helped in that particular situation.

My Polaris tether has been acting up as well..... Insides freeze up and it won't kill the sled. Gonna replace it soon!

And, also a fan of a small carabiner on the end of the cord....

lucky you!

I'm super conscious of mine being clean and it still gives me crap ) :

and im using kind of a medium size carabiner because a small one is a bastard with gloves

Pro Armor, or Pro design, they both work very well. The C clip design and a spring loaded plunger give a never fail combo!

This one clamps to the bar. Designed for atv's

This one goes in a hole. Designed for watercraft. The button in the middle is also a kill switch if you press it.

I currently use both. Both work well.

I have had the other style with the rubber cap and they always crack and fall off. Also mounting is a little harder.
