I believe that the pic above is an install of a TiAl housing with a Turbo-Smart waste gate and the Precision-Turbo billet front end.

Justin, would you be able to set him up with a Tial equipped kit with an external wastegate?

This year should be great for the Turbo World with all the options available.

Might tell buddy to give him a call but he sounds fairly dead set on wanting to do it himself. Yes that is a tial housing.

I didnt have any trouble with the fuel control.
I use the attitude. It was running the first day on the snow. fine tuned it a few times but no det from fuel control.

Did you make your own kit or did you buy one?

I noticed silber sells a package with billet reed boots, injectors, fuel rail etc. would be a good buy if we decide to build a kit for him. I am assuming those injectors will plug into any dobec box capable of handling 2 extra injectors.

Whatever Shain is doing and what ever turbo he is using you can BET its done runs right and has MORE power than the competition..

you cant make airflow happen without the best turbo choice..its not one tha fits in your pocket...

Ok well I am building a kit for my 800 xp and now my buddy wants to build one for his pro. he is actually the one doing my fabrication work, we know what turbo and stuff were going to use.

We are just wondering what controller box we would use and what injectors?

Also I read something about a butterfly style throtle plate not needing a bov, is this true?

I got to ride Nm's last year with the XIC Boost-It controller, I think it runs as good or better than any other tbo two stroke I've rode. Very impressive.

When we get it done I will post results and picture, been in contact with neil from boos it, he says they dont have a base map yet but are working on one, it would be nice to have a base map and not have to start from scratch.

Actually we do have a base map that we ran last season, and it worked really well. We have a wide range of control when fuel comes on in relation to boost, which seems to be the hardest part to tune. Ours was good, but we are going to tweak the accelerator feature in our map and it should make it much better. The cool thing is that we can adjust it right on the box in seconds and then datalog our results and make adjustments as needed.
We don't use the factory injector signal as a tach trigger either, which gives us more control over the secondary injectors.
The other cool thing is, the sled doesn't even know our controller is on the sled because we are not tying in to the factory ecu or efi connections.

We will do E-Tech next, then Cat.

Well because it has a Boondocker sock on the filter and a Boondocker fuel control box, I'm going with Boondocker.

thats jared sessions setup from boondocker.. had it at the seely show.. that is the 2012 setup that they are working on .. external wastegate, intercooler, and the option to send the filter out the hood like that.. if i understand thats all the changes

There isn't any injectors, its the box with the fuel presure regulator.
