Done...
King im sending you some goggles and gloves, and i expect you to put my name all over your sled! Feel free to use a sticker like this, "I am Phatty's Biatch" :D

LMFAO !!!!

How about ... Snowhore will ride for belts.

It is only a matter of time when this string gets deleted.

LMAO....now that was leaving myself WIDE open...no Bridgette I didn't say wide so stay away...Phatty....you wait, you forget I have my own sticker factory here! Be careful what you ask for, it seems the only biatch duties I have had from you lately is a parts mule getting your scatter off the hill  so we will leave it as services rendered ! you ROCK

now back to our regularly scheduled thread!~

This. Most guys get some fat hookups with gear, sled accessories, and etc. Some guys get some indirect money like Brad Story who patented his propane turbo system and now (apparently) works for Boondocker selling and testing new products.

I know in other more lucrative industries you can get more. A friend of mine was a professional wakeboarder and his company gave him a truck and a new wake boat for free... and this was brand new stuff. $40,000 diesel Chevy and a $40,000 or more boat. He ended up rolling the pair of them on the highway outside of Las Vegas while on the way to a competition. The company brought him another truck/boat combo to Las Vegas and told him to get on the road.

If I was pro I'd just want to get my fuel paid for.

Just to clear the air on this one Brad has no affiliation with Boondocker anymore. He hasn't worked in R and D for Rocky in more then a year nor will he. Brad is working with Simmons TurBo Systems on Two Stroke and Four stroke Turbo's, As well as OVS and Pure Logic. My dealership sponsors the Thunderstruck Riders and Brad on a more in depth deal and basically I give him whatever he wants in the way of sleds, But i get them back at the end of the season. My last sled is on the cover of the new TS7. Hence the name FREEAGENT.....No way am i paying for his fuel....LOL

That's what I was talking about. Good on ya Michelle;) That's the way to make peoples take note of your shop and you in a positive way.

Isn't making money sledding kinda like drinking beer and then cashing in the empties?

Wouldn't it be more like filming yourself drinking beer then setting it to music and packaging it up and trying to sell it at all the local beerfests.......

everyone in team summit does it for the love of the sport. oberti is the only one on contract. team summit productions pays oberti $130,000 per season and supplies him with sleds, gear and roids.

J/K...

actually, i'm going to owe oberti some money once Elevation 4 comes out in September. this poor bastard gets FLAMED by the guys in the interviews.

the movie will go to duplication in 2 weeks with the premier on august 23!!

I made it out of the parking lot, rode all day, and park back in the trailer with no injuries to me or my sled 3 times last year.

Where's the pro rider warehouse so I can go pick up all my free gear? LOL

if you think about it, these guys are gonna go out and ride there crazy sleds, jump some huge jumps and slay some amazing pow regardless of filming or not, so you may have to deal with the filming aspect and not get to just ride, but you also get to know that people get to watch you ride all summer, its definetaly a not a profitable sport, but hey, if your good enough for people on SW to worhip you, then heck might as well throw a few stickers on, this is a very close knit consumer led industry.
