Every Year I report on the snow condition as I see it or from local riders. If you have never been to Priest Lake we have about 400 miles of groom trails all around the lake. We have snow in the mountains 3'to5' and no base some trial riding above 4000' but at lake level 2400' there is little to none. More on the way this week and I will let you know more as I see it.

Dec. 14

Well it seems to just miss us. It snowed about 2" last night there still is no base and no grooming. the late hunters have compacted the lower roads. I have no news of the north end of the lake. The Camels warming hut has 12" lots of rocks showing in Echo bowl. Still waiting for that big dump to get this year started.

Priest Lake Snow

Hey Tony, Any update on the snow conditions in the Priest Lake/Echo Bowl area? I'm hoping to get out next week.

Dec. 22

The snow looks great with the warm weather this week and more for tonight this week end looking good. There is still rocks in echo bowl but we just need more snow. There is enought snow down low to get off the trailer and ride up but still no grooming they will no start gooming untill there is 16" at the groomer building. WOW lots of new snow this week all the trails are groomed even into lost creek bowl but there is still no base. the sun is out today and the moutians are loaded with snow time to ride. If you are coming to the area give us a call we have 10 rooms. All with 2 queen beds and there own bath. All your food and lodging for $85 per person DBL ocp.

Sorry boys It has been a busy month. With the warm weather and 6" of wet heavy snow that shoud lock together the snow and creat a well needed BASE. the cold air returns this weekend with some sun breaks I will get back to a weekly report. Thank You Tony 425-417-5252

JAN 23

We have a BASE the boys said there was 6-8" of new on top of that base. There is 2" of snow on the ground today and more for the week. I'am still waiting for a report up north no one I know has been into the mollies. If you have please let us know on this page. I'am still looking for riders that what to eat great food and stay to ride from our door only $85 per person food and lodging.

Our group had a great ride. so I thought I would pass it on to you all. It has snowed about a 1" every night this week and the trails all are groomed for the weekend. We still have rooms available for the month of February and March. Give me a call for snow condition or lodging.

FEB 6

Wow a hole alot of snow just came through over 20" at the lodge. We had some customers that rode to Schweitzer on the groomed trail. they ate lunch and a few beers at the new lodge they built at the top of Schweitzer. the only thing that was'nt great was the price $4 beers $16 burgers $10 bar app. but the views and the lodge are amazing. Great place for the family ride round trip from the lodge and back 44 miles.

FEB 14

The cold temp have moved in and lock the snow together like concrete, hard and icy. But just pased the groomer headed to Schweister this moring. All the trails will be groomed by the weekend. This weekend is the vintage sled races at the air strip off of 57hwy the track is in great shape. so if you are coming up to the lake bring your ice scrachers or your chair to watch some racing.

Feb 22

The lodge is at 2500ft and Sundance Mt. is 6300 it takes about 15min to reach the top from the lodge. the weather has had some up's and downs right now it's 32* but later in the week droping back in to a deep freeze. This week we picked up about 8" to 12" of new snow and sun is planed for the weekend. Ride safe out there. I don't know how many more post I will be wrighting here so if you are coming to priest lake for a ride just give me a call and I will let you know the weather condiction for you.
