I like a lot of things about W, and voted for him twice, but the people he has chosen to surround himself with and some of his appointees are just plain worthless if not harmful. I may have said it a little too harshly before but the fact that the dems only came up with the two johns last time to run against him and dicky boy is pretty sad. I think he was pretty vulnerable at that time and could have easily been knocked off the podium by a mediocre at best candidate. What's that say about the democratic party. THICK!!!

If it is determined that we need more people and need an increase in the Visa/guest worker program it should come from people that are in mexico now. Not the ones that have come over here illigally and now demand we let them stay. I REFUSE TO REWARD CRIMINALS.
Every company should be forced to take part in the E-verify system. If an employee doesn't stack up, he's gone. They should be able to use the NO-Match letters to get rid of the 200,000 people they can prove right now. Get the criminals out and arrest those that hire them.

Where do you get this from? I am NOT saying you are wrong by any means. I just don't understand how you came to this conclusion. I DO NOT agree with some of the Mormon religion. I do believe in thier family values. They will help ANYONE out if you need help. In that way the snowmobile community is the same. If you see someone that needs help on the side of the trail you would help them I hope. I know I have many times and have been helped many time also. I do have some good friends that are mormon and I have never heard that, that religion teaches when you die you get your own world to rule over, like a god. I have been told that their belief is that there is three "kindoms of heaven". Three levels if you will. But I don't know anything about those "levels". In my opinion I don't know enough about thier religion to agree with it, or dispute it. I believe in GOD. And I also believe very strongly in family values.

Hillary= Blows alot of hot air. She says she is not out for the woman votes? Wasn't she counting on that in Iowa? I don't like what she says she stands for. And I really don't like her wife, er husband.

Tossing in my opinion. This country our fore fathers established this country and it's govt on christian beliefs morals and principals. My family moved from Norway in 1867 and aclimated to this country's beliefs, morals and principals. I may not have been to church more than 10 times in the last 15years but I'll be damned if I vote for someone who's foundation of their core values been established in a similar manner. Some of you say religion does not matter blah blah blah. Over thousands of years Civil Wars and Wars in general have been started ove 2 major causes. Religion and resources. And if history has a tendancy to repeat itself, I'm sticking with my team. Nuff said about religion.
I'm just going to do what I've traditionally done, Vote for the lesser of the evils and pray of not getting bent over. This way I can at least complain of who's in office. If you don't vote you don't have the right to a political argument or complaint in front of me.

It shows there true colors yet many fail to see there lack of credability. If one of them would stand up and say this IS what I will do and stop the mudslinging, they would win.
Im glad to see so many getting on the vote or dont whine bandwagon. I have stopped many libs in there tracks by asking if they voted? No, then I have no intrest in what they think.

First of all, I think any sort of litmus test based on any candiate's religion smacks of un-american ideals. This sort of talk has been done before with respect to Catholic candidates. "The next thing you know the president will be taking orders from the Pope." ....that sort of crap. JFK was elected despite this and I think he did ok. Believing that candidates can be of only a few select religions is hog-wash and against the ideals of freedom of religion.
Second of all, the illegal-alien problem has been ignored by too many Presidents- Democrat AND Republican. So now we have a 20 million person problem on our hands. Do some of you believe we should have armed police/military personel combing through our streets and homes tracking down these people. If you do, you are ignoring the implications of the loss of rights to American citizens, the cost and the near impossible logistics of this situation. To explore other methods of identifying and removing harmful aliens (and really, these are the ones we should be the most concerned with) should at least be discussed. Closing the borders with real security should be our firs t priority.

I still have a hard time with the ideas that we should let the illeagals in willy nilly and then bow to their presense by giving them drivers licenses, offering options on LANGUAGE and rewarding them with amnesty. If you want to live here jump through the hoops to do it legaly and learn f-in ENGLISH, PERIOD.
I haven't seen a candidate earn my vote yet. but yet I vote every time for the least damaging of them. Typically Party lines mean nothing to me but the fact of the matter is the Dems have grown more and more outrageous and socialistic. This and my personal belief system leans me toward the Republican side.
What's so bad about a man with christian values? our country was founded and the constitution based from judeau-christian values and beliefs.
What I meant about W earlier is people like the FEMA director, and the numerous others that W has parted ways with during his second term. The fact that he fired them does say a lot for him but then again why did he put them there in the first place?

It's called political appointments. It's a way of rewarding friends and allies. Both sides do it. Usualy to jobs with little responsability. Even for important jobs, sometimes people make mistakes when appointing them. George has the balls to say you screwed up and your fired.
Just picture trying to fill 80 some odd high power jobs to make your cabinet. There are bound to be a few bad apples.
