Power valves on M8T?

When using the BD box will the PV's be out of function?
If so, Isn't it a good idea to run a PV delete kit from BDX or Fastlane...

Is there any advantage not using the electronic PV on a turbo?

The BD box does not affect the power valves at all. They function the same with or without the BD box.

As to whether the PVs are a good thing on a turbo or not, I have no idea. I am curious as well. Might be worth starting a thread just asking that.

How much are they? Any idea where the best place to get them is?

Oh, and anyone I have talked to about them says get rid of them. You dont really gain or lose anything by taking them out other than simplicity. There is enough stuff that can go wrong on these things already. Might as well keep things as simple as possible and eliminate things that can go wrong.

Never had any problems with the powervalves. And on a Turbo with shorter range the powervalves is giving better milage and trottle responce. So its better to leave them on.

If the engine is ported in a way that gives the best NA power, the valves is not working that good anymore and then you can take them off.No need for stuff that doesent work anyway..

The purpose of the exhaust valve signal wire on the Boondocker kit (though not employed in all applications) is to receive accurate information regarding when the servo motor is actuated so a fuel correction can be made to address an inherent minor lean condition that exists just as valves begin to open. This is the purpose for the value (fuel correction number) in the exv menu when active. Regarding whether or not to utilizes valves in the 800 turbo applications, they are extremely relevant to proper low end performance, an already sensitive issue on turbos...best to leave them in and operational.

Would running the supreme tool valves (skidoo style) be better than the cable run arctic cat ones on a turbo? Just curious since you can adjust when they open.

I would like to know the same thing I ran the Supreme tool valves on my
m1000 and have thought about putting them on my turbo m8..

So the final result is too leave them in? Any adjustments to be made after reinstalling them?
