Power Inc. jetting & clutching

I have a set of end dump Power Inc. pipes on my Yamaha red head MM700. Does anyone have the factory jetting- clutching spec's ( instructions) or a great setup? I ride at 4500 ft and up, Iam thinking of putting on an ATTAC on it as well, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Tom.........

Sorry but this is bad information. The loud versions run at 8500. Run the 8DN weight that are in thier. I need to find my owners manual on the pipes too hellp you further as my wifes sled is far from stock. So what she has won't come close too what you need................SRXtreme

This setup is for the Performance Inc. pipes. I have the quiet version. According to reputable sources (dyno time) they run the same as the old loud ones. RPM should be 7950 to 8150 max, mine is solid at 8150.

I am running End dumps on mine and they are set at 8500. My dads runs quites and they are set at 8100. I know I got these rpms form Power Inc. set up pages I just need to find them.

Sorry to disagree with you SRX, but I believe most of the info is good.
What part of it do you disagree with and why..???

I rode in the mountains with many, many different MMax's and mine performed as good if not better than any of them (with similar level of "mods"). Paul showed me the dyno charts from his track dyno, pretty hard for me to argue facts like that, real world power with track and clutching included as part of the measurement.

I scanned a few pages of the original Power Inc. documentation that came with my pipes, 7950 to 8150 rpm. The clutching is always about user preference, but having a base starting point helps. You will probably have to download the pics and open them with Photoeditor or something like that, the viewer on this web page isn't very good.

SRX, before you publically tell someone they are giving bad info, maybe you could back up your keystrokes with some facts. I provided approximately 20 different setup tips and I know that they are not all wrong. The end dump pipes may like higher revs like you said, but I have no documentation to verify that. My research and testing was all done with the side bleeder pipes. It would be great (especially for Tom) if you were to post some dyno charts showing the end dump horsepower curves as well as documented and agreed upon jetting, clutching, etc. tips. I'm not trying to start anything here, just trying to help out Tom.

Cheers,

Maybe you need to do somemore homework. I am sure I can find 100 people on here and TY that will agree with my statement. I can certainlly find proof in the pudding, but I do not have countless hours to find all the dyno information on the web at this time. Mountain performance and Hartmaninc probably still list info on thier sites. As I stated earlier I cannot help with clutching as My sleds are probably the most moded SX based mountain sleds around.
