Power Claw Track Major Freying

The tunneldesign on the -09 is the problem, there is simply not enough space for the track to move from side to side. It doesn't matter if the track is perfectly aligned the track moves from side to side on ALL machines.
I have checked on ski-doo, polaris and Yamaha and there was a lot more space for the track on those machine.
The track is to wide for that tunnel. Thats it.
There will be wear on every -09 m and xfire track, I just hope that AC will come out with a solution for this soon.

power claw on m7

I put a PC on my 05 m7, only have about 200 miles on it but it looks brand new. Had A20 on before, night/day diff. Best $ spent on sled.

I'm glad it is not freying on you. There is no doubt that the track hooks up and pulls in the deep!!! The problem is with the 2009's as here tunnel is 2 narrow and the rivets stick way to far out almost touching the track. AC will have to do something about this as they will have to warranty lots of tracks real soon

The only thing my powerclaw is doing is performing amazing. I love this track and it amazes me everytime I go riding. Best track I have ever been on by far.

3rd ride today for me and I've got fraying everywheres. I thin kI got about 100km on my sled. Im OK woith this because if I can Ill get them to replace this soft track with a 2.5 challenger extreme. I'm still not impressed with the power claw yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i rode the power clawm today and all i can say is WOW! It is the best mod money can buy.

My dealer told to me to drive, they will replace the track when it has worn out, no problems and that's very good.
But I think that AC should solve the problem instead, warranty dosn't last forever and this might affect the price on the -09 when it's time change sled.

500 k on mine a little thread showing, i heard skud single ply tracks did the same thing. even my old camo had some of the same thing.unless it turns into a major problem i,m very happy with track and sled 09 m8.

Drop the track down grind just a little bit off each rivet 1/16 to a 1/8. I did and no fray took less than .5h

Went and talked to my dealer yesterday and let him know what was going on. He was going to call AC and see if they were aware of this. Hopefully they were and will do something about it if this problem gets worse. I'll post something when he gets back to me about what he found out. All in all tho i'm very happy with this sled and track.

Took a torch and cauterized all the fraying threads... will report back if i get more (90 duro track HCR).
