Power claw 2.6 on the pros??

I am gonna run the new powerclaw 2.6 on my pro and just wondering if I need to do the chain case mod with this track? Will u still be able to run a 8 tooth driver or go with the 7 tooth from avid to get the proper clearence at the bulkhead? Thanks

You have to run the Avid "Power Claw" style driver either way with the old 2.25" or new 2.6" PC tracks.

The new 2.6" track... for clearance reasons, you will need to run the 7 tooth drivers.

MH do you know if it will clear my chain case or will I need to do the chain case mod? I will for sure be running the 7 thooth avid drivers

pro 11-12 yes need to mod chaincase for clearance.
on 13-14 belt drive I dont believe you need to do a mod for clearance.

any of the years you will need 7-tooth avid cat drivers.

I realize this is an older thread but thought i would put in a little info for the future.

You don't have to run the avid powerclaw 7t with the 2.25", carls cycle has/had an 8t driver that works. I have them on my sled. Minor detail i know.
