I have almost 2000 miles on my XRS and have been running the C-Lite the entire time. Would swapping to the PowderMax really make that much of a difference?? I've heard from some that it is the single biggest upgrade you can make to the sled, but c'mon, whats the difference on the hill??

we've changed out lots at the shop i worked at,the P-Maxs is just a better track.... the C-lite is great cut down to a 1.75 for snow drags.the track seems to be to aggresive, trenched alot, the 151's did ,159 was better but needed geared down we found 19-47 worked good.

track

my 08 xp (x) came with one, some one screwed up and the dealer wanted 600 to swap it with a powder max, killer spring time track but is like a paddle tire in the powder,i put a camo replacement ski-doo track on and it seems to work better in the pow, spins alot in the spring.ski-doo wants $800 plus.tracks usa i believe is $625 (I put one on my zx mod sled DONT EVER DO THAT you will need a snorkle),even on the light xp it trenches in the pow

I have run my C-lite on my XRS and I think the issue that some have with it, is based upon snow conditions. Here in the land of Sierra Cement the track is the bomb.:face-icon-small-win When I travel to real snow actual power the track just flat out hooks up but does leave some mighty deep trench's. I will run mine and not change it just based upon the snow conditions that we ride in here.

i agree snowrd,r the track would make any sled an animal in your snow conditions... its all fluff up here til april.... it all depends

xpspenziv.... i like your currently under your name :)

I'll say it.....the lite is garbage! one of the worst powder track I have ever had. Going to a Challanger or Powdermax will make it a completely new and improved sled in anything but setup snow.

If you are going to be riding in very firm snow then keep it. HoWeVeR, firm snow softens up as it warms up so I would use the C-lite for a cool set of mud flaps for the truck ;) and swap to the PowMax. There is a huge difference in powder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
