Powdermax track on 2007 Summit Rev

Powdermax track on 2007 Summit Rev WOW!

I know this is nothing new to many of you, but we have done alot of testing of different tracks and compared side by side equal sleds other than tracks. Hands down we have found the powdermax track out performs the others (attack 20 is better for pure powder riding). It is even better than the 08' tracks for powder. If you have an 07' summit X and have tried to stop the trenching, my advice would be to just get a new track...you'll be amazed at what JUST changing the track will do. Hope this helps some of you, my only regret is it took so long to get the track changed.:D

Does it perform better than the extreme????

The Challenger extreme is very similar to the powdermax track.
HTML:

Lug height 2.25" or 2.5" 2.31" 2" (or 2.31)
Pitch 3" 2.52" 2.52"
Clips Every hole every other every hole
Track holes None two ~1.25" per None
Durometer Medium Medium Medium
To answer your question the extreme is basically a powder max w/o holes and in a 3" pitch. The powdermax has a slight weight advantage. The new 08' ski-doo track tends to trench more than the 06' powdermax track. We believe it is due to the large holes. We covered them up with aluminum strips and compared and it performed better...others testing may vary, but this was our experience...
