Powderlites turnout

Ok, I know this has been asked before, (probably by me) but who has some pictures of their exhaust turnout for a Powderlites. I have some ideas from Darin at powderlites, but I guess I am getting lazy. I would like someone to show me what they have done and if I like it just have them make it for me.

Someone must have by now had a pipe shop make one out of stainless that is the right size and could just pass on their name to make them for the rest of us lazy bastards. I don't mind polishing it, but don't really want to take the muffler off to take in to a muffler shop.

Anyone????

Yeah, but he was going to do a tunnel dump if I remember right.

I called 4 local businesses that I thought might be able to help and struck out with all of them. Hope someone can come up with something for all of us.

Dave I know you are busy putting kits out the door, but this would be great if you could whip something up.

Anyone have measurements off the yammi turnout, maybe it could be made to fit.

Just go to a muffler shop and have them bend a pipe and stick it in drill 1 hole in the bottom of hindle and hit it with a screw.
My problem with this no matter how you do it it will look lame. I think the Idea of the Hindle upside down is kinda cool. and maybe a stack with a flap on it :D

turnout

What is the end of the Hindle exhaust, stainless or alum??

Any Muffler shop thats worth a squirt should be able to do it, and make it look decent.

LOL. a stack with a flap now thats funny

3 of the 4 places I called were muffler shops, none of them stock stainless (the endcaps on the Hindle are polished stainless) and one of them even said he cannot bend stainless. Maybe I am dealing with morons out here, but not sure.

After my last post I did find some pre-bent stainless pipes at a couple auto parts shops that a guy may be able to cut and rivit or screw onto the Hindle. Will probably have to cut the rolled edge off to get something to fit over the outside as I could no find anything that would go inside that would fit tight enough to seal real well.

Would probably look a lot better if you could cut it at the angle of the hindle and have it tigged, then it would look like it belonged, but probably won't do that.

Have to see about ordering a piece tomorrow unless someone comes to the rescue tonight.

I just put my Hindle upside down on my nytro kit. I think it looks ok and I should be able to run a jerry can behind without any issue.

Hindle exhaust

I also turned my exhaust upside down. I plan to run a ski-doo spare gas tank from a REV (low profile one) should work great by my initial measurements. Last year my hindle was only ever warn to the touch even under hard usage so heat shouldn't be a problem.
