Just finished installing a Powder Lites Turbo kit for an 03 RX-1,Wow,,,what a difference,the throttle response is unbelievable,I dare say,it's as good or better than EFI,snappy,0 turbo lag,super clean on off throttle response,pulls like a MO FO,still doing a bit of clutch set up,the new intercooler and double down pipe works great.

Anyone who still has an 03-05 RX1 shouldn't be afraid to upgrade the power,the machine is paid for, upgrade it.

I second that If you have a RX1 do it up they flat out work. Just do a rider forward Suspension and shocks need to be upgraded anyway.
I can buy ( a stock sled) and build a pretty hot TRX1 for 12 grand that will hang with most anything out there and handle as good (or better) than any Apex.

I've been over to Dave's place a couple of times recently and his stuff just keeps getting better looking each time. The man is a wealth of knowledge and knows what works. I'm sure the mods will rock.

I have the mcx on my nytro and this is my first efi sled, I have heard how responsive they are, will this efi has nothing on my old carburated trx, my trx would have killed this thing out of the hole, don,t get me wrong I really like this sled I think its a better sled all around but it does not have the throttle response my trx had.

Couldn't agree more,the cool thing is you can buy an old RX1 for real cheap,turbo it,throw some goodies on it and you're under the cost of a new one,and you still might have enough to buy beer and a belt.:beer;

are you saying they are THAT fast? this is getting more interesting by the hour.... I was thinking of getting a RX-1 to turbo...But not sure what direction to go..the old MCX kits are to slow on those sleds...are they trouble free like the MCX kits or are they constant wrenching on the mountain kits?

if you are looking for hp. the trx is the way to go, just depends on how much hp. you want. I don,t want that much any more so the nytro will be just fine for me, but I never did get beat by any efi sleds when I had my trx. I think you can get more hp. out of the cardurated motors and from what I am seeing so far the throttle response is much better out of the carburated motors.

I heard that ! I 'm lovin my Trx1 Front Mount !

Now days its easy to own a 250 HP sled for under 10K. How can you go wrong, they're reliable, built like a brick $hithouse and still fun to ride plus at the end of the season you've got shoulders like the hulk.
