New Product Announcement: 2016 Silber Turbos Axys kit

I was lucky enough to get to take a spin on a new Silber kit on an Axys 155", running 7lbs of boost on pump gas it was a monster. Crisp clean throttle, no blubbering or lag. Very impressive! I tried to make it stumble up but never could. There were two in our group and they ran very well.

Snow was about 3-4 feet in some places, bottomless powder. My stock 155 did well but these sleds made it look like a 600.

I drove 11 hrs. each way to the Silber garage to have the new kit installed on my 0 mile Axys. I found some snow in the Keweenaw (UP Michigan) on the way home to break the sled in. I ran 3 lbs. of boost to get through the 2.5 hr break in period. Flawless. My arms hurt from hanging on! The kit is set up to run 7 lbs. of boost out west - heading out to MT this weekend.

I'm a complete newbie to the turbo scene and I'm planning on posting more in the turbo section on my experiences with the kit.

So how are u guys adjusting boost from let's say 7 to 10 pounds? And do these kits use the oil injection system to lube the turbo?

It is a simple spring change, takes less than a minute... Once its cool :) You can also add an inline boost controller if wanted.

Yes it uses the sled oil injection and the ECU oil parameters have been adjusted to reflect such.

I have tried both 7 and 5 with straight Av, no Det code. I need more weight so went to 5 which still needs more weight but waaaaaay closer!

I also have a 3# spring for pump if wanted.

Looks like a very nice clean kit.. Is everybody happy with there purchase? Did many go intercooled or not?
