Potential Sled Movie Premier Spots in Issaquah?

Looking around for any ideas or suggestions for places in Issaquah to hold a sled movie premier party? Shooting for a weekend premier, sports bar-ish, lots of tv's, possible mic for raffle items.

New to the area and any help/suggestions would be great!

Stay tuned, as once the spot is determined the announcement will be made for the time and date!

Thanks for the help!

Are you guys for sure going through with this? I would like to partake but am a minor. So no bars for me. That's why I can't attend most premiers. It would be nice, but I know the greater of the audience is OLD...

Back to the corner I go.... :face-icon-small-sad

Issaquah Brew house isn't really a place for it. Much more chill, pub type atmosphere.

Malarky's might be a good place. I tried to go there with the wife once, but it was way to busy and too loud for dinner. It was also 7pm at night. Since it is so busy, might make it too difficult..

Take a look at Gilman BLVD in Issaquah. Many places along there to choose from.

Ruffy and Wakesk8,

Thanks for the heads up, i'm going to head over to the places you mentioned this Saturday and check them out...sounds like there are plenty of options.

Mitten...I'll certainly keep you in the loop if its not in a bar, if it is....then i'm sure we can find a window for you to peek through :face-icon-small-sho

Thanks again-

i totally forgot about this place it would be a good place as well, my buddy is one of the bartenders there so if you need any help let me know and i will get you his info

If you aren't set on Issaquah how about North Bend Theatre? That was pretty cool having Flirting With Danger up on the BIG screen!

2 votes for North Bend Theatre or anywhere outside of the Quah.. Issaquah is a bust, pretty uptight town.. cops and people..

Thanks for the heads up about the Northbend Theater, i'll get in touch with Cindy over there and she what she as to say....

Was just leaning towards the sports bar idea as we've had several very successful premiers in similar locations (beer/cocktail selection and food always keep people happy!)

Again, thanks for the ideas about possible locations!

Ellks Lodge

Might check out the Elks Lodge in Iss.....they have 2 big screens, bar, food, pool table. Not a big crowd place if you were looking for something more personable...$2 beers...$3 whiskey. Let me know and I will help get reservations.

I would second the outside of Issy area. Not a large selection of available places. As for Minten (minor) if the premier is held at a place that serves hard, he could hang in the nearby area til 930. State law allows it, but he can't go beyond the velvet rope that divides the old salts from the lil punkins.

In the middle of getting all the logistics figured out but it looks like the premier is going to be a GO! Time and date to be announced within the next week...have sponsors lining up, looking like it could have an AWESOME raffle as well!

A little teaser of whats to come...

And a little more....

Try the Pour House

You should check out the Pour House in North Bend if you're checking out places there. Easy on/off I-90. Depending on how many people you're planning on this could be a cool spot. They have a pretty cool setup. We usually stop by when we're done riding when we have time. Keep us posted when you decide on the location. After seeing the teasers, I'm in for sure.

Just a heads up if you are new to WA State. WA has some pretty strict laws regarding raffles. You might want to take a peek at the WA Gambling Rules. I have read them online several years ago, but I do not remember all of the details, but I seem to recall something about a requirement that only non-profit organizations can hold raffles? I could be wrong, but that is what I seem to recall.

Not that many folks don't have raffles that do not follow the requirements, but if you do, you might want to be careful how and where you advertise the raffle portion of the gig.

Good luck.

I've done raffles and just straight up gear chucking throw downs.. depends on how you disperse the raffle tickets. if you're selling raffle tickets aside of like a door entry price.. I would look into it. (not like anyone is checking tho) handing raffle tickets out at the door or with an entry ticket to a show is all good..

looking forward to some dates.. :)

Thanks for the heads up about the raffle. I'll definitely look into this very closely. For those who are interested in where the proceeds of the raffle go, they go directly to the ongoing rehabilitation of Grant Korgan (one of the founding fathers of Alpine Assassins). See the clip below about Grant's road to recovery....
