Funny you should bring up wierd dismounts Nick. Cause I seem to remember a game of follow the leader that ended in a hurt chest, damaged pride, and a bent steering post. However... you did stay on the sled... Sort of

LOL, yea i remember that day. That sucked big time.

06' rmk 700(755) 151'

Here is my build...Some avid Craigslist watchers may recognize this sled, it was listed for $2000 back in Oct. I got it for $1900 and it came with some goodies like a F&I intake, side panel vents, and a Timbersled radiator delete. It also came with some problems.
So at this point my new bottom end is at HPAK getting assembled and the sled is stripped down and I am waiting on my 09' plastics kit and I hope to have it together here in the next couple weeks. Once I get it going I can start saving some duckets to get some goodies for it like VE tunnel, Holz front end, Ice Age rails and some SLP stuff. This summer I am gonna send the bottom end off to Indydan to make it a Torque MasterIII.

I hope you have better luck with that 755 motor than I did. 2800 miles, 5 motors. I never got more than 700 miles out of any of my motors. And they were all brand new. Every time one blew, it was never just a squeaked piston, it was holes in the crankcase, broken rods, etc.

Then again some guys have 3000+ miles on them with no problems.

Make sure you get the throttle cable the guy here on Snowest is selling. The stock ones break all the time.

TPS failure in that pic after the first rebuild(rod poking trough jug) right??

I got a buddy with the 06 700 RMK, so far no major engine repairs. Had a real problem with blowin belts but solved that with some major venting. Its a great sled when its runnin right though!

BTW heres my M, just about finished i think. might still add some engine goodies but otherwise hopefully just gonna be spending money on gas and oil for this thing. :beer;

Sled needs some TLC but I'm happy you will be riding again this season :D
