Here is the biggest trench of all. It was dug by a cat

Oh I just couldn't resist, and I had to make it sound that it was somehow snowmobile related. Probably just 'cause the lack of snow so far this year, but the only trenches I've seen lately are in the dirt and look more like these.Sorry, but I thought it was funny!!

These pics are great to see.....and even better is checking the snowpack via the trench. You don't have to always use a shovel to dig a pit.....take a look at the snow in your trenches to check out the snow layers for potential avy trouble.

That's a good trench too. Next time be carefull with the thottle. When you give her too much throttle from a dead stop, youre going to do that everytime, when you've got conditions like that. I hope you had friends there to pull you out
